(Sorry I have not posted for a while. AP EXAMS!)
My mom was helping me review AP English literary terms and vocabulary and such. One of the words was “pedantic” and I was trying to explain the definition. I ended up using myself as an example: “You know, like me with grammar.” My mom checked the definition (“narrowly academic instead of broad and humane; excessively petty and meticulous”), considered for maybe half a second, and then moved on.
Maybe I need to tone down the grammar business a little.
