He’s back. And this time, it’s personal. I wasn’t logged in to Gtalk when this started, so it showed up as a chat box in Gmail, meaning I could copy text directly without screenshotting. However, I could only do one box-window at a time, meaning it was easier to just copy in this chat with Priya. I italicized all the stuff copied directly from the chat to make it easier to read. The Chatback Chronicles: Secret Admirer 23 November 2008
For the past several weeks, there has been someone who has used the chatback badge to let me know exactly how much they like me. It has been funny in a very weird way. I mean, WEIRD. Anyway, here are all the chats I have had with them (I use “them” as a third-person singular pronoun not only when referring to people of unknown gender, but also people chatbackers because of their unknown identity, even when their gender is know–as is true in this case). The first two I e-mailed to some of my friends, but the third just occured today and I feel like posting them all so people who did not see the first two can have the context.
For those of you who have seen the first two, skip on to the third. It starts at the fifth picture. It is really quite delightful, if you are not inherently involved in the entire thing. Enjoyyyy!

The Chatback Chronicles
As many (all?) of you know, I am a part of Julie’s Study Guides. This means that I often get crazy chatbackers. Most ask for genuine help, a few are pranks from friends (I am looking at you, Jordan. But you are not the only one), a few recent ones have been from the secret admirer (this elicits giggles from Priya, Adrika, and possibly others), but in the past few days, I large percentage have been requests for one particular guide. Julie covers guides for Mr. Bullington’s AP European History tests. There is one tomorrow, and people are apparently so worried that they have been asking since last week for the guide. Maybe half an hour ago, I got a particularly entertaining chatbacker. The screen shots of the conversation follow:
EDIT: As an explanation for my actions, the second they called me a “snob”, I decided to turn on the über-snob. Just to spite them. Also, as a result of these, Freddie said he wants his chatback badge on the site. Who would not want to be cursed out by an anon? ;) I will try my best, though, Freddie.
